Elvex new generation of safety caps is designed for general industry, construction as well as utility companies where additional side (lateral) protection is not required.

	The light weight shell is made from tough Polyethylene.
	Proguard safety cap comes with a six point fabric harness ratchet suspension.
	These safety caps comply with ANSI Z89.1-1997, Type1, Class E. Type 1 caps are designed to protect against falling objects (top impact) and are not designed for side impact (lateral impact). Class E (Electrical) is intended to reduce the danger of exposure to high voltage. Tested to 20,000 Volts.

These safety caps come in White, Yellow, Orange, Red and Blue.
